pen and pad

I started the following sketches this past October...Believe it or not, I had a late bloom of sunflowers....I decided to track their progression of growth through my pens and pad...These sketches are still in progress...The biggest challenge so far is choosing colors that will jump off the page at the same time translating the depth of field...
