This painting started as a pencil rendering of three African females from a book I have called Origins. I decided to develop it into a lotus flower, and for a good year and a half it stayed as a pencil rendering of a lotus flower with three african women faded in the background. The beginning of the month after the first transition of a major icon, I started painting with the color blue...then gold...The news of the transition of our second icon brought red, and dark purple...its now a meditation piece for reflecting...I get lost in different moments, and I am still debating if I should develop it further...Stay tuned!
